Bevan Brittan LLP further cemented its position as the leading public services law firm this week when Susie Smith, Commercial Consultant, won the prestigious Who’s Who Legal Award for the Public Procurement lawyer of the year.
In a letter to Susie Who’s Who Legal describe her as “the World’s leading practitioner in the field of Public Procurement”. The Who’s Who Legal Awards are highly sought after because nominees have been selected based upon comprehensive, independent survey work with both general counsel and private practice lawyers worldwide. Only specialists who have met independent international research criteria are listed.
The award recognises Susie’s extensive achievements in the field of public procurement. With over 20 years experience advising in this field she has worked on a variety of highly complex national and international schemes. Susie is also a founder and committee member of the Procurement Lawyers’ Association, she sits on the Editorial Board of the Procurement Law Review and was last year appointed as the Special Professor of Law at the University of Nottingham in recognition of her work in Public Procurement.
