This seminar will provide an overview of the current models being used by local authorities to develop shared services both across the local government family and more widely with other parts of the public sector (e.g health organisations).
 
 It will also look at joint ventures with the private sector, where these might be most useful in the current financial climate, and finally at outsourcing services – options and issues.
