In conjunction with The South West Fraud Forum (SWFF), a seminar to consider the challenging issues that arise when an employer conducts an investigation into the alleged fraud of an employee. This seminar will consider some of the difficulties employers will encounter and how best to deal with these (as well as the risks involved if things go wrong and how to protect your position). Some of the key areas include the surveillance & monitoring (e.g. can you search an employee’s desk / briefcase / computer), data protection, handling witnesses, disciplinary proceedings and civil recovery.
