Our practice is now recognised as one of the country's few full service local authority practices in the country. The experience we bring across the full range of local authority services has allowed us to make a difference on a number of transformational projects from city regeneration to better services for looked after children. We take seriously the positive impact our work often has on the most vulnerable members of society, particularly in our work on health and social care, children’s services and social housing.
Core members of our team have worked in-house for local authorities, enabling us to bring many years' experience of understanding the particular issues faced by a democratically elected organisation and the unique culture of Local Government, with the influencing pressures and vires issues that officers must consider at all times.
Our relationships with a number of other public bodies add to the context in which our local authority work is delivered. We work with regional development agencies, organisations such as the Local Government Association, the Parliamentary and Health and Local Government Ombudsmen, central government departments, NDPBs, health bodies and many others. We therefore keep constantly up to date with the latest policy initiatives influencing and driving Local Authority services.
