Christine is Head of the Tax Department at Bevan Brittan.

My Background
I trained at Memery Crystal qualifying in 1991. Since then I have worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers, Denton Wilde Sapte, Osborne Clarke and Pinsent Masons; I joined Bevan Brittan as a partner in 2004.

I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation Technicians (ATT) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) and advise on a number of technical committees. I am Chairman of the Birmingham and West Midlands Branch of the CIOT.

What I do

I advise on all aspects of corporate and property taxation including advice on:-

Transactions under Private Finance Initiative (PFI);

Transactions under the Building Schools for Future BSF Initiative (BSF);

Direct and indirect tax implications for NHS Foundation Trusts;

Mergers, acquisitions and disposals;

Tax planning for owner managed businesses;

Flotations; and

All forms of property taxation.
