I am a senior associate in the Commercial Dispute Resolution department.
I specialise in the financial services sector, fraud and recovery of commercial debts. I have spent approximately 18 months on two secondments at Zurich Financial Services.
I advise clients on a number of issues, including resolving disputes within the financial services retail distribution chain, project managing a multi-million pound mis-sale claim arising from an off-shore ‘ponzi’ type fund, advising on the regulatory and legal risks of financial products, and bringing and defending injunctive proceedings for data protection breaches, fraud, and misuse of confidential information.
I have a successful track record in actively recovering and defending commercial debts. I am keen to explore with my clients risk sharing arrangements, which limit my clients’ exposure to costs and incentivise us to accelerate recovery.
Finally, I am a big supporter of ADR, in particular mediation and resolved a class action, comprising more than 30 cases, at one mediation.
