I am a Senior Associate in the Employment and Pensions Department.
I advise on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment issues, both in the private sector and public sector (Health and Local Government). I advise on matters in Tribunals and the EAT, usually defending claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination and breach of contract. I also specialise in internal dispute resolution, in particular carrying out complex conduct, capability and grievance investigations.
My non-contentious advice includes advising on all scales of reorganisation and redundancy exercises, and drafting employment / TUPE provisions in commercial agreements.
I regularly provide seminars and training workshops on all aspects of employment law, such as internal disputes, the ACAS Code, whistle-blowing, TUPE and reorganisation and redundancy.
In 2008 I spent a six month secondment acting as in-house employment counsel for a major international media group, dealing with their employment matters in the UK.
