I am a solicitor in the Clinical Risk Department specialising in clinical negligence.
I defend the NHS Litigation Authority in a range of high value and complex clinical negligence claims including fatal accidents, ophthalmic, shoulder dystocia, oncology and orthopaedic claims. I contribute regularly to articles and have given presentations to clinicians at the Trust. An important aspect of my work is ensuring that clinicians are supported during the claims process and ensuring that claims are dealt with proportionately and quickly.
I qualified in 2006, joining Bevan Brittan in 2008. Prior to working at Bevan Brittan, I worked in defending general personal injury claims for large insurance companies.
