I am an associate professional support lawyer (PSL) in the Public Sector Commercial team.
My work involves providing the team with a comprehensive and focused information and research service. I produce several email alerts, including the highly regarded fortnightly Authority Update that is sent to over 700 people in local authorities and associated public bodies. I also edit Bevan Brittan's client newsletter Authority View. I organise legal training for the team, and also help with external seminars. I keep a watching brief for developments that impact on the team’s work and also carry out ad hoc research.
I am a qualified solicitor and I also hold a qualification in library and information studies. I have many years' experience in legal information and knowledge management work. Before coming to Bevan Brittan I worked at Allen & Overy as a PSL, focusing on environmental law.
I am also a contributor to Lexis PSL Local Government online service, for which I have written a number of Practice Notes on the structure of local government and local authority powers and duties.
