I am a partner in the Commercial and Infrastructure team and have worked for clients almost exclusively in the Housing sector for the last 10 years.
I advise registered providers, local authorities, arms length management organisations and private companies on a wide range of housing projects including housing stock transfer, housing PFI, local asset backed joint ventures, group structures (and other governance matters) and the restructuring of ALMOs.
I have advised on ground breaking housing projects such as Salford City Council’s transfer to City West Housing Trust, the first to involve a transfer from an existing ALMO and Cornwall Council's recent expansion of the role of its ALMO, Carrick Housing, to cover the former districts of Caradon and North Cornwall.
I have more recently assisted a number of registered providers on the legal issues arising out of the installation of solar photovoltaic equipment and am working closely with a number of organisations on the opportunities afforded by the forthcoming Green Deal and ECO.
I also continue to advise housing clients on a variety of commercial agreements including long term purchasing and supply arrangements as well as outsourcing contracts.
