I am an associate in the Property department.
In addition to advising on routine commercial property transactions, I have tended to focus on advice to public and private sector clients in connection with the Building Schools for the Future and NHS LIFT initiatives as well as PFI and PPP projects in the health, leisure, education and waste sectors.
This project support work has included advising on site procurement and assembly as well as property and title matters associated with project documentation.
I have also advised public sector clients on strategic disposals of surplus estate typically for residential or mixed use developments where negotiations often focus on retaining an interest for the public purse in future windfalls.
I am also involved in advising local authorities on the Academy development programme. In particular, I have been at the forefront of finding property solutions to the incorporation of Academy schemes within the BSF initiative.
