I am a solicitor in the Clinical Risk team dealing with a diverse range of healthcare matters, contentious and non-contentious. Having been instructed by a variety of organisations I am able to provide practical, commercial advice with a sound understanding of the needs of public and private sector clients. My experience includes representing organisations at inquests, Court of Protection and judicial review proceedings and health and safety prosecutions. I also regularly advise on issues faced by healthcare organisations including clinical governance, general healthcare law and mental health and mental capacity law.
I provide training to healthcare professionals on a wide variety of topics such as good medical record keeping, consent and confidentiality and judicial processes in which healthcare professionals may be involved.
I am also a member of the Clinical Ethics Committee.
