I am a Solicitor in the clinical risk team and specialise in providing healthcare advice. I trained with the firm and qualified in 2006.
I provide advice to a large number of NHS clients across the country on medical law and ethics issues. My work involves advising on a wide range of medico-legal issues including, consent, capacity and information sharing and also have extensive experience in best interest cases. I specialise in Children's Law and Information Law, but have also dealt with inquests, mental health law, judicial review and human rights issues.
I regularly provide training sessions on current issues, including child protection, mental capacity, Freedom of Information and Data Protection. I have also been invited to speak at national conferences on these subjects.
