I am a partner in our London employment team. I have considerable experience in advising public sector employers and, in particular, NHS organisations on the various employment issues they face. I practise in both contentious and non-contentious work but have a particular interest in high-value or complex discrimination claims and doctors’ disciplinary cases, including those that lead to High Court proceedings.
My non-contentious experience includes providing corporate support, advising on TUPE implications on contracting out processes and joint venture arrangements, restructuring programmes and redundancy. I also regularly advise on changing terms and conditions of employment, drafting fair treatment at work policies and grievance and disciplinary processes.
I also advise a portfolio of clients across the private sector, primarily those operating within the leisure and hotels industry.
In addition to my fee earning work, I lecture extensively both in-house and externally on a broad range of employment and HR issues and regularly provide specialist articles for client and trade publications.
