I am an Associate in the Clinical Risk team. I specialise in supporting and representing clients at inquests and providing training on the process.
I have particular interest in vulnerable adults, advising on safeguarding and best interests decisions.
I advise clients on potential judicial review challenges and represent them at Judicial Review hearings.
In addition I advise on issues of consent, confidentiality, Mental Health Law and handling complaints and aggressive service users.
I am also committed to pro bono work and I am a Trustee of the Midland Legal Support Trust, which I helped establish. I am a member of Birmingham Law Society Pro Bono Committee and provide pro bono and charity work on the Birmingham Solicitors Group Committee, as well as participating in a number of pro bono projects.
