I am an associate in our Major Projects department.
I specialise in strategic partnering, education and social housing projects. I advise public and private sectors, sponsors, contractors and sub-contractors.
In relation to the education sector, I have worked on the national BSF programme since its inception. Initially, seconded into Partnerships for Schools (PfS) when it was in its start-up phase through to the programme management phase, I have worked with PfS, bidders and local authorities at all stages of the BSF schemes, from pre OBC work through to operational LEP issues. I also continue to work with PfS on a number of central programme matters.
Within the BSF market, I specialise in advising both the public and private sectors on partnering. I have worked with a number of local authorities throughout their BSF schemes assisting them with scoping their partnering requirements through to evaluating partnering responses and helping to translate partnering into contractual arrangements. I also work with the private sector in helping them understand what partnering means, what local authorities want from a partner and how to respond to this to lay the foundations for successful strategic partnerships.
In addition, I also specialise in social housing projects working across the private and public sectors. We are currently working with a number of clients to consider various options for structuring social housing schemes in the current economic climate.
