I am a partner in Bevan Brittan’s Employment and Pensions Department, having joined the firm in 1999. I have specialised in employment law since 1994, having qualified at Macfarlanes. I act for a wide range of clients including national and international plcs, central government and educational bodies, and have a particular focus in the insurance and media sectors and lead on employment services for Local Government, Registered Providers and Education.
My general experience includes all areas of employment work and I have dealt with a number of high profile cases in Tribunals, EAT, High Court and Court of Appeal.
I have specific expertise in handling TUPE and other issues arising in employee transfers in the context of outsourcing, Joint Venture agreements, Public Private Partnership arrangements and shared services projects (acting for both the public or private sector), and also in the areas of equal pay, including Single Status implementation, and discrimination.
