I am an associate in the clinical risk team specialising in clinical negligence and the legal framework for the prevention and control of Healthcare Associated Infections.
I trained at Bevan Brittan and on qualification joined the clinical negligence team. I have been defending medical negligence claims for the NHS since that time. I am experienced in all types of clinical negligence claims but am particularly interested in obstetric brachial injury, brain damage at birth, ophthalmology, mental health and MRSA litigation. My experience in ophthalmology claims has resulted in my being instructed by an eye laser surgery provider working outside the NHS.
I provide regular training for NHS Trusts on a wide variety of subjects, but in particular on their infection prevention and control obligations.
