I head our health market group and have worked in the health sector for nearly 20 years. My background includes a special team PFI/PPP, more recently commercial and governance advice.
I am currently head of the Birmingham office and focus on advising (on a national basis) NHS and independent sector organisations on strategic issues, frequently involving elements of innovation or new practice. Examples include off balance sheet funding models (to replace PFI), new models to manage the out of hospital estate and joint ventures and outsourcing.
I am an advisor to the Cooperation and Competition Panel for West Midlands Strategic Health Authority. I am also a non executive director for North Bristol NHS Trust and a founding trustee of the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity.
