I am a solicitor in the clinical risk team, specialising in clinical negligence.
I trained at Capsticks, qualifying in 2005, and since then have practised exclusively in clinical risk, mainly dealing with negligence claims. I therefore have experience of a broad range of claims of varying value and complexity. An important aspect of this work is supporting the clinicians involved, in addition to ensuring claims of limited value are dealt with proportionately, both in terms of time and cost.
I have a general interest in medical ethics and have undertaken postgraduate study in this field.
