I am an associate in the Commercial Dispute Resolution department.
I specialise in intellectual property disputes (particularly those relating to trade marks, design rights and copyright), domain name disputes, defamation, and breach of confidence claims. I also have substantial experience in a wide range of commercial and contractual disputes and I have experience in obtaining urgent injunctive relief including search orders.
I advise a variety of national and international organisations in a range of sectors and I work with clients in both the public and private sectors. My aim is always to resolve disputes in a way that ensures the solution reached is pragmatic, commercial and cost-effective, and the client's goals are achieved.
I have successfully concluded claims through negotiated settlement (before and after the issue of court proceedings), mediation, summary judgment and at trial.
I have been heavily engaged in advising over 100 UK local authorities and other wholesale depositors in international multi-party litigation arising out of the collapse of the failed Icelandic banks.
