Bevan brittan, acting for the consortium Waterfront Leisure (Crosby) Limited, has signed a deal for the UK’s first leisure Private Finance Initiative with Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council for a new leisure complex on the seafront at Crosby, Merseyside with a capital build value of seven million pounds.

David Hutton who is a partner with Bevan Brittan and Penny Dhaliwal who is one of the associates at Bevan brittan, negotiated the deal with Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council who were advised by Paul Buckland of Devonshires. Barclays, who provided the funding, were advised by Tony Randle of DLA.

Waterfront is a consortium comprising Parkwood PFI law Projects Limited and G & J Seddon Limited, each company owning 50 per cent of the equity.
