National law practice Bevan Brittan LLP has received
32 recommendations in this year’s edition of
Chambers & Partners, including 18 recommendations
for services within the South West.
The Bristol office of the firm has been recommended
within the Band 1 category for its construction,
employment and intellectual property practices in
the South West where clients have included the Welsh
Assembly Government, the Audit Commission, the
Ministry of Defence and Rolls Royce among others.
Nationally, the firm has attained top tier
recommendations for its work within the
administrative and public law arena, healthcare,
local government, professional discipline and PFI/PPP
practices. The Band 1 ranking attained by the
firm’s burgeoning healthcare practice has been
recognised as being ‘one of the key players and
dominates the market through it huge geographical
coverage’ and serves the ‘crème de la crème’
in the healthcare arena.
The firm’s Government division is regarded as having
‘established a firm presence within the market’
regarding its work with the DfES on the Building
School for the Future initiative on which the firm
advised the local authority in Bristol on a
pathfinder project.
