Bevan Brittan LLP
has announced the recruitment of five new projects
lawyers, two construction lawyers and the promotion
of leisure PFI specialist Penny Rinta-Suksi to
partner.
The new appointments coincide with a raft of
business wins for the national projects team and
Penny’s relocation to the firm’s Birmingham office
to lead the practice in the Midlands.
The team in Bristol is joined by associates Nick
Churchward from Lovells, Matt Humphries from
Beachcroft Wansbroughs and Duncan Dermot from
Pinsent Masons. Kirsten Hutton joins the London
practice as an associate from Kilpatrick Stockton.
Louise Whitesman, recently named as Young Local
Government Solicitor of the Year 2005, joins as an
assistant from Hertfordshire Council Legal Services.
Bevan Brittan’s projects team is one of the largest
in the UK and has an extensive portfolio spanning a
range of areas including education, defence, health
and regeneration. The recruitment of the new
associates and Penny’s relocation reflects the
growth and strength of the practice across the three
offices.
The Built Environment division has strengthened its
construction offering with the appointment of Fiona
Edmond and Lucy Nicholls who join the London office
from SJ Berwin.
Commenting on the appointments, Head of Built
Environment David Hutton said: “We continue to share
the success of our clients in these growth areas and
I am delighted to welcome these talented individuals
to augment our team.”
