Bevan Brittan has announced
the appointment of regulatory litigation specialist
Iain Miller from Wright Son & Pepper.
Iain joins the firm’s newly formed Regulatory Group
within the Commercial Department. As the former
Head of Litigation at Wright Son & Pepper he joins
the London office of the firm as a Partner on 3
July.
Iain practices in the field of professional
regulation and discipline including judicial
reviews, regulatory litigation and disciplinary
proceedings. He is a member of the Law Society’s
Panel for Solicitors Disciplinary work and
represents The Architects Registration Board in
disciplinary proceedings.
He will work with
Charles Metherell, Head of Bevan Brittan's
Commercial Department and Regulatory head
Neil Grant to develop the firm’s thriving
professional regulation offering.
Commenting on Iain’s appointment Charles Metherell

His current areas of work complement entirely Bevan
Brittan’s existing Intervention work for The Law
Society and Iain’s skills will help us provide a
complete service offering. Iain’s presence will
enhance the firm’s reputation in this field and
allow us to really focus our Regulatory practice and
become a genuine market leader in this area.” Bevan
Brittan's dedicated Regulatory Group will comprise 3
Partners and 12 fee earners.
Bevan Brittan’s current Regulatory practice includes
clients such as The Law Society, the
Commission for Social Care Inspection, the
Healthcare Commission, the General Social Care
Council and the Audit Commission.
