We have a dedicated team within our commercial dispute resolution group who regularly advise our clients on a wide range of complex, high-value arbitrations, involving both English and foreign law, in a number of different jurisdictions. We have advised on arbitrations involving matters spanning a broad range of subjects which match our market strengths.
Our team is experienced in dealing with institutionally administered arbitrations governed by the ICC, LCIA and UNCITRAL Rules as well as ad hoc arbitrations conducted under the rules of particular trade associations. We also handle applications to the High Court under the Arbitration Act 1996, including applications for the appointment of arbitrators, removal of arbitrators on grounds of bias, stay applications, serious irregularity challenges and appeals on points of law.
