- South Coast Street Lighting Project
Currently advising Hampshire County Council, West Sussex City Council and Southampton City Council in relation to the redevelopment of street lighting apparatus on the South Coast, in what is the UK’s largest ever street lighting project.
- 4ps Street Lighting Procurement Process
We advised the 4ps on the procurement process for the current round of street lighting projects. This process involved a single OJEU and pre-qualification process with the 4ps acting as agent on behalf of the procuring local authorities. The intention behind this innovative process was to highlight reduce costs and the time spent by local authorities in procurement.
- Outsourcing projects for local government highways and transportation schemes
In recent years, we have advised Northamptonshire, Plymouth, Buckinghamshire and Southampton councils in relation to the development of their respective long-term highways services contracts.
- Barnet and Enfield Street Lighting Project
On secondment to Bouygues UK, Patrick Sweeney advised the successful bidder on this “batched” project.
