In working with you to manage your HR legal spend, we believe that training is an integral part of an ongoing skills and knowledge transfer to your management and HR teams, not only to ensure that you are aware of the latest developments in employment legislation and case law but as you continue to meet the challenge of improving productivity and achieving efficiencies within the workforce.
We offer a range of training which is tailored to meet your specific organisational or strategic needs, designed and delivered so that they are cost effective, interactive and practical. Depending upon your training and development needs, our sessions can be delivered by way of an interactive, case led workshop, seminar format or one to one coaching.
This can mean training on any topic, based on your own policies and procedures, to HR staff only, managers (at all levels of seniority) and staff generally, investigating officers as well as disciplinary and grievance panel members. We regularly provide bespoke training and updates to the Board on more strategic issues, such as the Equality Duties, the employment issues arising from the Corporate Homicide and Corporate Manslaughter Act and the Bribery Act 2010.
Under the Commercial Alliance Framework and other public sector panel arrangements for the provision of legal services, and in our partnering arrangements with out clients, we offer free training to clients as part of our Value Added Services.. Our training offering is complemented by our annual public sector seminar programme which is regularly oversubscribed, and our Workforce Forum for Human Resources and Organisational Directors which is an interactive discussion forum, with guest speakers, focusing on key strategic issues.
Members of our Employment team frequently speak at external events, such as the NHS Employers annual conference, the Local Government Weekend School and Central law Training events. We also provide training to regional groups such as Special Interest Groups and regional employers organisations.
