This is about protecting your business from ex-employees.
There are two important aspects to protecting your business – before and after ‘it’ happens. The ‘it’ might be an employee leaving and wanting to take clients or customers, an employee looking to take important staff to a competitor or even to disrupt your important supply channels.
The important thing for you is to try and build into your contractual arrangements the right protection tools. These should be tailored specifically to your business situation.
If an employee does breach any of the protection you have in place we will advise on options. We have significant experience of business protection action, ranging from a 'shot across the bows' correspondence, to obtaining undertakings from the ex-employee or High Court injunctions. Often a negotiated commercial solution can be reached but where that is not possible, we have obtained a number of injunctions against ex-employees and their new employers.
