Working with our clients on recruitment issues can involve a number of different areas.
One is helping our clients understand where there are risks in a recruitment strategy. For example, in the current legislative environment, age, race, sex, disability and other discrimination risks can be exploited by failed candidates, and, unfortunately, there are some out there who deliberately target employers in this way.
We have defended a large number of employment tribunal complaints pursued by unsuccessful applicants in the recruitment process.
In addition we help our clients with recruitment documentation for advertising, the offer letter, the contractual terms and relevant policies, guidelines and handbooks or intranet information.
We also work with clients in relation to diversity issues, being very familiar with the diversity framework. As a firm we have been recognised for our own work in this area.
