Bevan Brittan’s property team provides advice to a wide variety of organisations on a large number of property finance issues. Most notably our advice is in respect of care homes, hotels, office accommodation, commercial property investment, private housing development and social housing. We act for developers, end users and banks in these and fully understand their needs and the challenges they face. We have been appointed to a number of bank panels including Clydesdale, Bank of Ireland, RBS, Cooperative Bank and Norwich Union.
The types of advice we provide range from property and development finance, including:
- pure development and investment finance transactions
- advising Registered Housing Providers (formerly known as RSLs) in relation to the refinancing of their housing portfolios - such work includes advising on the security documents and bulk title investigation, often involving loans in excess of £100 million
- advising banks on NHS Local Improvement Finance Transactions, providing new health centres - in particular advising Norwich Union Public Private
