helping your organisation understand its obligations under the Human Rights Act 1998, the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the Mental Health Bill
managing the risk to you by ensuring that your policies and integrated governance framework comply with legal, regulatory and policy requirements
safeguarding your reputation in public law cases, inquests, MHRTs, Managers’ Hearings, claims and inquiries
reassuring practitioners and supporting managers at appeals
creating solutions to help Foundation Trust Non-Executive Directors fulfil their duties as hospital managers and advisors
advising on the developing law of confidentiality, data protection and freedom of information
advising on issues relating to children and adolescents, immigration, care planning and funding
devising and implementing joint commissioning/service arrangements with the Health Service and the public and private sector

Training
As well as our legal services, we have developed a training programme which will help clinicians, managers, multi-disciplinary teams to raise awareness of the legal and ethical issues on a wide range of topics including capacity, social inclusion, risk assessment and human rights.
