We have a friendly and committed team of six lawyers who specialise in all areas of planning law and practice – including planning agreements, appeals, local plan inquiries, compulsory purchase and judicial review. We work for a wide range of clients on both sides of the local government fence including local authorities, developers and housing associations. The breadth and depth of our experience means we have probably come across your problem before, which in turn means we can get straight to work tailoring a solution for you. We are always available to talk things through and pride ourselves on our informal but professional approach.
- We have recently acted for a City Council handling the advocacy for several planning inquiries. The matters covered at the appeals ranged from housing capacity, landscape, ecology, listed buildings, protected trees, open spaces and affordable housing.
- We are also advising a Regional Development Agency and its sister urban regeneration company on their strategy for the regeneration of a large, run-down urban area. This is likely to involve several large scale compulsory purchase orders.
- We have acted for an international waste company in respect of planning applications for two major waste management facilities in East London, which were granted planning permission without a call-in inquiry.
