I am a commercial dispute resolution lawyer advising clients including ombudsmen schemes, higher education institutions, NHS bodies and local authorities on a broad range of issues including general commercial litigation and dispute resolution. I also have a particular interest in public and administrative law with frequent experience of judicial review.
I qualified as a solicitor in the team in March 2017 after having trained with the firm. I spent the final 6 months of my training contract within the department and have benefited from solid exposure to the litigation process.
My career at Bevan Brittan follows a number of years working in an advisory role as a Chartered Legal Executive for a North West based local authority and, more recently, working within the in-house legal team for a public sector Ombudsman service. As such, I have developed a good understanding of local and central government as well as the service delivery standards expected by clients in that context.
