In a report earlier this year, the NAO advised public sector bodies to start preparing for PFI handback 7 years prior to the contract expiry date.

In this session, chaired by Bevan Brittan Partner David Hutton, we explored the challenges facing the public sector and how to develop a PFI exit strategy.

Our expert team explored the importance of understanding the contract and undertaking the correct legal, technical and financial due diligence, pitfalls to be aware of, and opportunities to be leveraged.

    Presenters:
    Judith Hopper, Partner, Bevan Brittan
    Colin McConaghy, Partner, Bevan Brittan
Tim Reade, Head of Property Advisory Services, CIPFA
    Peter Withers, Associate, PeopleToo
    John O'Halloran, Consultancy Director, CIPFA
