Virginia Cooper, Partner and joint-Head of the firm’s Higher Education Team said:

“The award nomination is a fantastic achievement and reflective of the excellent work that the team has done over the last 18 months. We are proud of the strong partnerships we have built with our higher education clients and the reputation we have established across the education sector.

“The team has recently experienced rapid growth with new higher education client appointments and wider client instructions. This growth has been bolstered by our appointment to the London Universities Purchasing Consortium (LUPC) framework and the recruitment of specialist Higher Education Corporate Partner, Rachel Soundy, Procurement and Subsidy Control Partner, Bethan Lloyd and Construction Legal Director, Niamh Batterton.”

Bevan Brittan’s Higher Education Team is an exceptional, multi-disciplinary, growing team of education experts, including 10 partners and over 40 lawyers. The team specialises in providing corporate and commercial, education law and litigation, regulatory, employment and immigration, construction, property and finance legal advice to both public and private education institutions. The team supports a national client base comprising Russell Group universities, newer (post-92) universities, further education colleges, schools, education regulators and private higher education providers.

Winners will be announced on 8 November at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel London.
