Corporate lawyers at Bevan Brittan have advised digital marketing agency Creode on its acquisition of Blue Digital – a digital agency specialising in website design and development, SEO and paid search management.

Creode has offices in London and Leeds, and works with clients such as Asda, Skipton Building Society, Vivienne Westwood, Scope, Virgin Media, The Spectator, Sipsmith and Channel 5's The Gadget Show.

The acquisition will allow Creode to strengthen its broader digital offering and better serve its clients by incorporating Blue Digital’s expertise in digital marketing into its suite of services.

Christian Hunt and Sophie Evans advised Creode on the acquisition.

Christina Hunt, Corporate Partner and Head of Commercial Services at Bevan Brittan said: “This is a great acquisition for both parties and their impressive roster of clients. Leeds has a thriving digital and tech industry and we’re delighted to support this dynamic industry.”

Guy Weston, CEO of Creode, said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Blue Digital to the Creode family. Their expertise in specific areas of digital marketing will be a valuable asset and will help us implement our continuous improvement approach to the greater benefit of our clients.”
