• I am an experienced employment lawyer acting predominately for employers across a number of the Firm’s key market areas. I specialise in complex employment litigation and regularly act for clients in the Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal. I have particular expertise in discrimination and whistleblowing claims.

I have worked with a wide range of clients including, but not limited to, charities, manufacturers, universities, health care providers, solicitors and solicitors’ firms, judges and senior executives.

In addition to my contentious work, I assist employers with exit packages (including preparing settlement agreements) as well as with policies and contracts of employment. I also deliver training and provide advice to clients on a range of employment topics including disability discrimination, complex gender identities, and philosophical belief discrimination.

I pride myself on strong client care skills, and look to establish long-term client relationships where I become a trusted advisor. My clients say:

“Thank you so much, Courtney Janotta, for all your help in resolving a tricky situation for our charity with a former employee. It was done with professionalism and support…My thanks are both personal and on behalf of our organisation.”

“She was extremely professional, very supportive and incredibly prudent. The outcome achieved was satisfactory to all.”
