National law firm Bevan Brittan has continued its positive start to 2021 by winning the Legal category at the Bristol Property Awards 2020.

Bevan Brittan was recognised for the strength of its Property and Construction Teams, which account for a quarter of the firm’s national business

The judges also highlighted Bevan Brittan’s ‘burgeoning reputation’, which has seen it lead on many significant Bristol projects that have made a real impact on the region.

The news adds to Bevan Brittan’s strong recent awards track record; the firm won Property Law Firm of the Year at the Insider West Midlands Property Awards in 2019 and last year won the prestigious Legal Advisors of the Year – Transactional award at the HealthInvestor Awards 2020.

In 2020 the firm’s South West Social Housing practice achieved a Top Tier ranking in the Legal 500 and Chambers legal directories, and Construction practice a Tier 1 ranking in Legal 500.

Reflecting on the property awards success, Rosie Jago, Head of the firm’s Bristol office, said: “We are delighted with this award, which is recognition for our market-leading Property and Construction teams and our ability to bring together teams from across the firm to offer a unique perspective to our clients.

“It shows that we are known as good people to work with, who understand our clients’ needs and the markets they operate in. That has never been more important than now in the current challenging conditions we all face and we’ll continue to work closely with clients to ensure they have a successful future.”

She added that Bevan Brittan has broadened its client portfolio over recent years to include sectors such as construction and development, energy and sustainability and manufacturing, building on its well-established reputation in housing, local and central government, and health and social care.

Now in its second year, the Bristol Property Awards celebrates the commercial and residential property sector in Bristol and the wider region.
