• I am a healthcare commercial property lawyer specialising in complex projects, with particular expertise in primary and community care health schemes. I advise a range of clients including governmental organisations, NHS trusts and the Department of Health. I am ranked in legal directories as one of the leading commercial property lawyers in the country, having gained national recognition in a number of markets including health property and large scale bulk commercial property transactions. In the context of health property, I have been recognised as one of the leading experts in the NHS Estate in the country (Health Service Journal).

I manage a team of 20 lawyers undertaking the majority of the work for NHS Property Services Limited and Community Health Partnerships Limited (who hold NHS health estate with a value in excess of £7 billion). I have extensive experience of advising on national and Government programmes and complex property based joint ventures between the public and private sectors such as NHS Local Improvement Finance Trusts (LIFT) and Strategic Estate Partnerships. I have advised on over £250m of surplus land sales in the last few years acting for NHS bodies such as Acute and Mental Health Trusts, Department of Health and Social Care and NHS Property Services Limited. I am also advising on one of the largest lease programmes in the last 5 years putting in place over 4500 documented tenancies across the NHS Estate.

Over the last 15 years, I have advised many property development companies in the context of new health schemes – both large complex hospital developments and small GP primary care developments. This includes work advising funding Investors carrying out a cross selection of lending work.

I also have a strong following in the Investment and Commercial Property market outside health across the South West and London specialising in complex bulk and high value transactions.

Currently, I sit on the management board of Bevan Brittan and head up an element of the Health Property offering of the firm coordinating management of a number of the firm's strategic clients.
