Across the region
The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust
We advised the Trust in connection with a £150 million extension a managed service relating to specialist clinical equipment provided as part of a PFI project which relates to the Trust’s world-renowned oncology service.
Boom Power
Advising Boom Power Limited on the property and financing aspects of two of their Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects, both of which have obtained Development Consent Order Status including its 400 megawatt East Yorkshire Solar Farm
University of York
We advised the University of York on an exciting deep geothermal energy project to support its Sustainability Plan 2030 targets. The project aims to cut the University's fossil fuel consumption by 78% and make a substantial contribution to reducing the City of York’s overall carbon footprint.
Pro bono support for The Rob Burrow MND Centre
We were appointed by long-standing client, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, in connection with the development of The Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease. Located at Seacroft Hospital in Leeds, the purpose-built facility is designed to provide specialist care, research, and support for patients and their families. We provided over 40 hours of pro bono construction and procurement advice to support this positive contribution to the community.
York Minster
We provided construction legal advice on the development of the first-of-its-kind Centre of Excellence for Heritage Craft Skills and Estate Management. The campus facility for research, education and training in traditional craft skills will allow the world class stonemasons to undertake commissions for other ecclesiastical institutions and heritage estates utilising our state-of-the-art cutting technology.
Bradford Council
We are advising on the disposal of multiple numbers (100’s) of property assets owned by the local authority with an estimated combined value of £150m.
Envisage Dental UK
We advise Envisage Dental UK on dental practice acquisitions across the country. We support Envisage on all legal and strategic aspects including corporate, property and regulatory.
Leeds PIPES district heat network
We supported the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust on a heat supply agreement with Leeds City Council to connect to the Leeds PIPES district heating network. The agreement allows 17 buildings at St James's University Hospital to be supplied with hot water and is an important step in helping the Trust achieve its ambition to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2040

Each of our offices support a charity, selected by the team in that location.
Zarach’s mission is to end child bed poverty across England, to ensure they have a comfortable bed to sleep in and give them equal opportunity at school. The charity aims to provide 1,000 beds each year and partners with schools as part of its ‘Every Head a Bed’ campaign.
Our Yorkshire team will work with the charity to support, assisting with fundraising, volunteering and delivery of beds to local children living in poverty.
Homelessness Project
We continue to work with a local charity relating to homelessness, where volunteers assist once a month in serving breakfast to homeless people. Four volunteers from our Birmingham office also volunteered at SIFA Fireside, serving meals to the homeless.
Charlie's Angel Centre Foundation
A team from the Leeds office entered the Clarion Leeds 10k Corporate Challenge for Charlie's Angel Centre which provides support for families following the death of a baby or child. The team raised over £3,000.
Careers Day - Leeds
Several volunteers attended a careers day at Crashaw Academy to talk about their legal careers. This was the second time our firm has attended a careers event at the academy.
