Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF): A Panel Session

Hannah Taylor chaired a panel session of experts, including Rebecca Gibson from West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, one of the Early Adopter trusts. Rebecca shared their experience and learnings of implementing PSIRF. We also heard from Giles Mooney KC, a senior clinical negligence practitioner with a particular expertise in Inquests who gave his perspective on the new framework.

Partner and Head of Health (NHS) at Bevan Brittan Joanna Lloyd provided a lawyer's perspective and finally Bevan Brittan Healthcare Regulatory Partner Carlton Sadler provided an overview of what PSIRF could mean from a regulatory perspective, touching on the CQC’s likely approach.
