Bevan Brittan is delighted to have been reappointed to the legal panel of EM Lawshare, the country’s largest local authority legal consortium. The panel is due to run from 2018 to 2022.
Bevan Brittan will be one of seven law firms on the panel, who deliver legal advice and services to EM Lawshare members at competitive rates.
Originally launched in 2006, the consortium that started in the East Midlands has now grown to over 130 members across the country. This includes Local Authorities, NHS Trusts, Fire and Rescue services, Police Forces and Housing organisations, who can generate savings to the public purse through their bulk buying power.
Bevan Brittan has been on the EM Lawshare legal panel since 2014.
David Hutton, Head of Local Government at Bevan Brittan, said:
“We are very pleased to have been reappointed to the EM Lawshare panel. With our long experience in working for public sector bodies of all kinds, we are very well-suited to advising the consortium’s members. It is an important appointment for us and we look forward to continuing to work closely with EM Lawshare members over the years to come.”
