• I am a non-contentious commercial property lawyer specialising in asset management and telecoms work.

I advise clients on landlord and tenant transactional work, acquisitions and disposals and asset management, mainly from a landowner/seller perspective. However, I also have experience of dealing with transactional matters from a tenant/buyer perspective. My work includes the drafting and negotiation of leases and other property documentation such as contracts for sale, licences to alter, assignments, surrenders and access licences.

I regularly act for public bodies and charities on a wide variety of asset management transactions, including in relation to heritage properties. I also deal with Electronic Communications Code leases and other Code and telecoms related agreements from a landowner perspective.

    • I helped to advise one of the world’s leading international auctioneers in relation to their UK property portfolio.
    • I acted as part of the team that assisted Wirral Council with acquiring two shopping centres.
    • I act for Canal & River Trust, one of the largest landowners in the country, on a wide variety of asset management transactions including acquisitions and disposals, leases, licence agreements and other usual landlord and tenant work.
    • I act as part of the team advising Bradford Metropolitan District Council on the disposal of hundreds of property assets, with an estimated combined value of £45m.
    • I regularly assist landowners, including local authorities and public bodies, with Electronic Communications Code leases and other Code and telecoms related agreements such as MSV Agreements, wayleaves and cable easements.
