  • Webinar | Wednesday 3 December 2025 | 10:00 - 11:30 | 90 Minutes

2025 has been a landmark year for HR professionals, shaped by the ambitious and fast-moving reforms introduced under the Employment Rights Act 2025, which will have received Royal Assent by the time of the Webinar. With implementation now underway, employers must act swiftly to prepare, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk in a rapidly evolving legal landscape.

This session will offer a practical and comprehensive overview of the reforms that immediately come into force or are due to be in force imminently, including the repeal of the Strikes (Minimum Service Levels) Act 2023, extension of automatic unfair dismissal rights in relation to the participation in industrial action, as well as changes to the Trade Union Act 2016. We’ll explore the latest government consultations and outline the policy direction signalled by recent announcements. We’ll also look at the next trench of reform which is due to be brought into force in the Spring of 2026 including day one rights to parental leave, changes to statutory sick pay and changes to whistleblowing legislation. Our panel will also review key employment case law from the past six months, highlighting implications for your organisation and workforce strategy.

The session will be chaired by Lee Carroll, Partner, who will be joined by a panel of expert speakers including Adil Zaidi, Legal Director, and Samantha Owen, Senior Associate. Together, they will guide you through the legal developments that matter most, helping you understand what’s changing, why it matters, and how to respond with confidence.

Our clients will get priority, but we will endeavour to increase capacity where we can to allow all those who wish to attend a place.
