Top-100 national law firm Bevan Brittan has announced a series of promotions in its Leeds office, which are reflective of a successful year and its plans for future growth.
The promotions come mainly in the firm’s Property department. Ellie Staniforth makes Senior Associate, while Fallon O’Mahony, Sherrie Roberts and Eleanor Smith all become Associates.
Adrian Webb also gains promotion to Associate in the Commercial & Infrastructure department.
The promotions in Leeds are part of a national promotions round which has seen 28 colleagues successfully further their careers with Bevan Brittan. The figure is among the largest number of promotions in a single year for the business.
Bevan Brittan’s Managing Partner Duncan Weir said: “There is no denying that economic pressures this year have created challenges and uncertainty, but yet again we have risen to the challenge. These promotions recognise the significant contributions that these colleagues have made to our business. Together with our wider teams, including the new recruits who have joined us over the past 12 months, these promotions will help to provide the strength and depth that we need to achieve our ambitious targets and drive the business forward over the coming year.”
Lyndon Campbell, Head of Bevan Brittan’s Leeds office, added: “Our Leeds office is going from strength to strength, and we’ve seen increasing demand for our property services in particular. It is exciting to see talented lawyers like Adrian, Ellie, Fallon, Sherrie and Eleanor progressing in their careers. They are already delivering day-in and day-out for their clients and are our legal leaders of tomorrow.”
Bevan Brittan has a leading practice in Leeds, advising clients in Yorkshire and across the UK on a comprehensive range of matters. The firm advises businesses across construction, energy & resource management, higher education and financial services sectors, complementing its market leadership within housing, central and local government and health and social care.
The promotions build on 31 senior lateral hires, including four new partners, who have joined the business in the last 12 months as the firm worked towards achieving its tenth consecutive year of revenue and profit growth in the 22/23 financial year.
