I am a Solicitor in the Infrastructure & Construction team, specialising in construction disputes. I advise on a broad range of contentious matters, including claims arising under the Building Safety Act 2022, professional negligence, wrongful termination and breach of contract. My experience covers a variety of dispute resolution mechanisms, including the pre-action protocol process, litigation and adjudication.
I have particular experience in adjudication, acting for both referring and responding parties in disputes involving workmanship and design defects, payment, delay, loss and expense, and termination.
My clients span the private and public sectors and include contractors, consultants, employers, local authorities and developers. I advise clients on the management and resolution of disputes, from providing strategic advice at an early stage through to pursuing or defending formal proceedings, as well as settlement and dispute avoidance where appropriate.
