Leading commercial law firm Bevan Brittan has promoted 33 lawyers, including six new partners, matching its record for the highest number of partner promotions in a single year. The contributions of business services colleagues have also been acknowledged with 11 achieving promotion.

The promotions, effective from 1 May 2026, recognise colleagues across the business and underscore the breadth of talent throughout the organisation. In addition to the six new partners, the firm has promoted seven new legal directors, ten senior associates and ten associates.

The newly promoted partners include Scott Couzens, Ralph Hindle and Caieta Hendry in Commercial and Infrastructure, Daisy Scaife and Alex Dunne in Property, and Andrew Uttley in Employment, Pensions and Immigration. Alongside the 33 senior lateral hires - including seven partners – who joined the business this year, they will support Bevan Brittan’s public and private sector clients, and play an important part in the successful delivery of the firm’s new five-year plan.

Managing Partner, Duncan Weir commented: "These promotions demonstrate the depth of talent at Bevan Brittan and recognise our ongoing commitment to investing in our people.
