I am a Personal Injury specialist, focusing on Catastrophic and Complex Injury Claims. I have been acting for major insurers for over 15 years, and I specialise in supporting and advising my clients in all aspects of motor, employer’s liability, and public liability claims.
I have extensive experience in dealing with claims involving traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputation, multiple serious orthopaedic injuries including complex limb salvage, functional neurological disorder, chronic pain, and severe psychiatric injuries. Typically, I deal with multimillion pound claims. I also have experience in fraudulent claims, fundamental dishonesty, and industrial disease claims.
I am experienced in all aspects of claims handling from inception to conclusion, including instigating and managing complex rehabilitation regimes on a joint basis, dealing with statutory funding for care regimes, and working alongside medical and accident reconstruction experts.
I am well versed in all aspects of litigation in the High Court and in the Court of Appeal. I have also successfully supported clients through the MIB arbitration process.

- Dealing with circa £20m hemipelvectomy claim from a 20-year-old female arising from a pedestrian v tractor RTA. Injuries including significant internal organ damage, reproductive organ damage, psychiatric injury, extensive tissue viability issues and complex co-morbidity issues including significantly uncontrolled diabetes, obesity and pre-existing psychiatric illness. Dealing with complex rehabilitation and care regime including statutory funding.
- Successfully repudiating an MIB arbitration claim where the Insured pulled out on a 30mph road into the path of an uninsured driver doing approximately 70mph. Complex accident reconstruction evidence on both sides.
- 82 year old above knee amputee involving significant joint rehabilitation package and inpatient rehabilitation treatment.
- 3 x child TBI plus adult TBI claims arising from a high speed RTA where the Insured sustained fatal injuries. One child aged 2 suffered an atlanto-occipital subluxation and significant associated brain damage, right side hemiplegia and a number of other associated injuries. Development issues, educational issues and complex family dynamic.
- Successful defence of a Court of Appeal matter seeking alteration of a quantum award. High Court determination was upheld.
