• I am a Senior Associate in our Construction & Engineering team, specialising in contentious construction matters. I advise developers, contractors, consultants and public sector clients on a broad range of disputes, including adjudication, TCC litigation, ADR proceedings, final account disputes, delay claims and defect matters.

Alongside my contentious practice, I also have experience advising on the non-contentious aspects of major construction and infrastructure projects. I regularly advise on JCT and NEC contracts, consultant appointments, collateral warranties and associated project documentation, giving me a strong understanding of the commercial and contractual issues that underpin construction disputes.

I have experience acting on high-value and complex matters across the residential, mixed-use, regeneration and infrastructure sectors, and I work collaboratively with clients and project teams to deliver commercially focused and pragmatic advice.

    Recent experience includes:

    • Acting on high-value, multi-party TCC litigation concerning complex cladding and fire safety issues.
    • Advising clients in adjudication proceedings relating to payment disputes, defects and delay claims.
    • Supporting developers, contractors and consultants on risk management and dispute avoidance strategies.
    • Advising on and negotiating construction documentation, including JCT and NEC contracts, consultant appointments and collateral warranties.
    • Assisting with witness evidence, pleadings, disclosure exercises and expert coordination in complex disputes.
